Children of the Revolution is a unique concert series which brings together traditional musicians and singers from throughout Ireland who are descended from men and women who were involved in the 1916 Easter Rising.

These three unique performances are a must for lovers of traditional music, song and history – a unique way to explore and celebrate the rich cultural legacy of Irish traditional music and song, aspects of our culture which were foremost on the minds of the political leaders of 1916. The project was devised by Michael Fortune and Aileen Lambert and is supported by Kildare County Council, and Limerick and Waterford City and County Councils as part of their 2016 Commemoration Programme
